Description
There are two type of solar tracking system, single axis and dual axis solar tracking system. Usually we use vertical or horizontal single axis slew drive in the single tracking system while dual axis slew drives in the dual axis solar tracking system. Sometimes, two single axis slew drives can be also applied in the dual axis solar tracking system. Single axis trackers have one degree of freedom that acts as an axis of rotation. Dual axis trackers can move both east to west and north to west.
