Introduction
WQ-2031 is a rigid, non-film forming water based acrylic emulsion for covering the brown background of natural kraft substrates. This emulsion will produces a more intense, brighter printing color when used as a letdown vehicle. The semi-opaque nature of WQ-2031 allows for reduced pigment levels as well as inorganic fillers.
WQ-2031 is a high performance hard non-film forming styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion specially formulated for water based printing inks. Its particle distribution is uniform and fine, with excellent covering performance, strong adhesion, good color development to pigments, and good printability; it generally used with WQ-227 film-forming emulsion,for flexo varnish for corrugated boxes & kraft paper.
