SA-608 Solid Thermoplastic Acrylic Resin

Introduction

SA-608 solid acrylic resin is designed to produce coatings that protect concrete, metal, and plastic surfaces. When dissolved in an appropriate solvent, SA-608 dries quickly and naturally to form a transparent film that protects the underside and color. SA-608 is a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate. It has good heat resistance and durability. It also provides a good adhesion to plastic substrates, like, ABS, PVC and polystyrene etc.

SA-608 is very compatible with many solvents and nitrocellulose, and is often used in applications such as marine coatings, plastic coatings, gravure inks, and screen printing inks, concrete floors.
