It is recommended that WQ-109 and Joncryl 678 can replace each other as they have similar performance. 

WQ-109 is a solid alkali-soluble acrylic resin with medium molecular weight. Amines or other basic substances can be used as neutralizing agents.

No co-solvent is needed in the preparation process, so the finished product has low-VOC. It is ideal for gravure printing ink and water-based varnish.

Because of its low viscosity in solution, WQ-109 solid acrylic resin can be used to formula high solids inks and coatings with high gloss and quick drying characteristics. The inks or topcoat varinish made by WQ-109 has high gloss, high hardness and scratch resistance. And WQ-109 has excellent compatibility with most acrylic resins.

WQ-109 styrene acrylic resin promotes gloss,resolubility in printing ink and overprint varnish formulations and can also be used to as pigment dispersions. WQ-109 styrene acrylic resin is in solid form, customers need to neutralize and dissolve to form a varnish before use.

The inks and varnish made by our acrylic resin can be used in cardboard, food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging and various film substrates, such as PE, BOPP and PET.
