Acrylic emulsion for Wood stain-blocking Primer

WL-1302 is a Specially modified water based acrylic dispersion , Designed for use as a stain-blocking sealer to minimize the “bleed through” of wood tannins .

Tannin staining:Brownish or tan discoloration on the paint surface due to migration of tannins from the substrate through the paint film.

Possible cause:Failure to adequately prime and seal the surface before applying the paint.

Solution:apply a high quality stain-resistant solvent-based or water-based primer.

WL-1302 Typical Data:

Resin Properties:

• Excellent blocking effect(as wood contains tannin acids that can bleed);
• Excellent permeability;
• Excellent shear stability and good storage stability

Storage:

The product shall be stored in a cool and dry condition, the quality guarantee period is 12 months, and the expired products still can be used if passing the inspections.

Applications:

This product is nano-scale special modified acrylic dispersion, has small particle size and good permeability, can be used as a single component waterborne wood sealing primer.
