The Trackball Assembly is a component with acable that is used in an ultrasound device as a cursor controller. It is usedduring the ultrasound scanning to scroll through and find the area of interest.The trackball can be installed and removed easily on a device. It is a capended mouse, which can be turned within a socket. A proper cable is selectedfor the OP panel. The one end of the trackball interface cable is attached witha Hirose DF-13 series connector. These Hirose connectors are used since theconnector pins are closer to the trackball and they have two locking tabs at theedge of the connector.
