Effects of manganese on crop growth and development and symptoms of manganese deficiency

1.  Manganese is an activator of various enzymes in plants and is involved in photosynthesis, promoting chlorophyll formation and carbohydrate assimilation. Therefore, when the plant is deficient in manganese, the symptoms of chlorosis are obvious, which may cause the various metabolic processes of the plant to be blocked, resulting in reduced yield.

2.  When wheat is deficient in manganese, it shows that the leaves are soft and draped, the new veins are chlorotic, and the yellow-green color changes to yellow. When manganese is severely deficient, the plants wither and die until the light is reduced, and the yield and quality are reduced.

3.  When rice is deficient in manganese, the plants are short and have few tillers. The leaves are short and thin, severely discolored, showing yellow-green color, and finally brown spots appear. In severe cases, the spots are streaked and finally necrotic.

Please re-spray it if the rain come in 2hours.
