Prepare foundation by cutting, filling, and grading as required. Remove surface irregularities, loose material, vegetation, and foreign matter to ensure level, smooth surface.

2) Assembly
Rotate gabion panels into position and join vertical edges with fasteners. Use spiral fasteners or C ring type alternate fasteners at maximum 150mm spacing. Install interior diaphragms where inside dimensions exceed 1m.

3) Placement
Place empty gabions on foundation and interconnect adjacent gabions along top, bottom, and vertical edges. Modular assembly method eliminates end panels for streamlined construction.

4) Filling
Stake gabions to maintain alignment. Install internal connecting cross-tie wires for diagonal bracing. Fill carefully with rock, ensuring alignment and compact mass. Level final rock layer and secure lids with approved fasteners.
