Double Twist Hexagonal Woven Gabion Wire Mesh Heavy Zinc Coated
Gabion mesh is made of hexagonal wire netting with varying wire diameters. For uncoated hexagonal wire netting, wire diameter ranges from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. PVC coated hexagonal wire netting has an outside diameter ranging from 3.0 mm to 4.0 mm. The frame edge wire is one gauge thicker than the mesh wire.
Gabion Material Types
- Galvanized steel wire: Low carbon steel wire (2.0-4.0 mm diameter) with tensile strength ≥380Mpa. Hot dip galvanized surface protection with zinc coating up to 300 g/m².
- Galfan steel wire: Zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy (1.0-3.0 mm diameter) with ≥380Mpa tensile strength and 3× the corrosion resistance of traditional zinc.
- PVC coated galvanized steel wire
- PVC coated galfan wire: PVC coating provides enhanced protection in high pollution environments with color options for environmental blending.
