Ⅰ. Description

  This silicone-coated fibreglass fabric is highly resistant to ageing, fire and water. They can also be used as anti-corrosive fabrics.
  This flexible silicone fabric can be used as an anti-corrosive liner for chemical storage tanks, pipelines and more. It limits vapour loss and ensures chemical compatibility, making storage tanks safer.
  Thanks to its high mechanical strength and strong chemical and heat resistance, this silicone-coated fabric is specially engineered to offer excellent reliability and a long lifetime in storage, containment and chemical processing.

1. Used in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 200°C.
2. Resistant to ozone, oxygen, sunlight and ageing. Long service life of up to 10 years.
3. High insulating properties: dielectric constant 3-3.2; breaking down voltage: 20-50 KV/mm.
4. Good flexibility and high surface friction.
5. Chemical corrosion resistance.

  Silicone fibreglass fabric is highly flexible and provides excellent protection. It is used in insulating blankets and other heat-resistant parts. The silicone coating adds water and oil resistance, as well as being low smoke and flame retardant. Although the base fibreglass fabric has a rating of 1000°F/550°C, the silicone coating is rated for continuous use at 392°F/200°C. Silicone-coated fibreglass fabric provides good flexibility, as well as puncture and tear resistance. Its dry surface does not stick to sewing tables, making it easier to sew, drape and handle.
