TPR Material: Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) caster wheels combine the advantages of both a hard & soft tread material in a single wheel, making it one of our favorite caster wheels. Like a hard tread wheel, thermoplastic rubber rolls easily and is very durable. Like a soft tread wheel, it is quiet, protects floors, and has a cushioned ride. These caster wheels also hold up well when exposed to weather, are resistant to chemicals, water, & steam.

Rigid casters: Rigid casters are casters that remain in one position. They will not rotate like a swivel caster will. Rigid casters give you great stability but do not give you the mobility advantages that swivel casters give you. For best results, most clients will use a combination of swivel and rigid casters to give them the most favorable mix of stability and maneuverability.
