- 3M™ 5453 PTFE glass cloth tape is lined with a brown glass cloth impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), coated with pressure sensitive silicone adhesive.
Product Features:
- Premium glass cloth reinforced backing tape provides greater tensile strength and better tear and perforation resistance than classic PTFE film substrate tape
- Silicone adhesive has good high temperature performance and is not easy to age
- Provides non-stick and low friction surfaces on heat sealing and packaging equipment
- Thicker backing helps extend service life during wear
- High temperature resistance 500℉/260℃
- It has very low hygroscopicity and can be used in many humid environments
