The Forming of Meltblown Fabric
Generally the principle of this line is similar to most of common plastic sheet extrusion line which is widely used in many fields of our lif, so let's focus on more about the forming of metlblown fabric.
 
A die mold with densely sprinkled nozzles is the most important part among all of the component in a complete meltblown production line.
During the production, the temperature of the mold is maintained at about 300 degrees.
 
Around the nozzle, a highspeed hot air flow blow the molten PP polymer that is being ejected.The hot air flow stretches the molten polymer from
the spineret, and then the enlongated PP plymer meets the atmosphere cold air outside the die mould to condense and solidify to form a short filament with diameter around 3um, which is finally attached to the roller or conveyor belt freely under the action of gas turbulence.
The temperature of the hot air blowing near the nozzle is between 230 to 360 degrees, and the compressed air speed is upto 05.-0.8 times of the speed of sound.
 
The diameter of the thin filament is in the micron grade, and is about a few tenth of the thickness of our hair thread.Before attaching to the drum, the fibers will not only be laminated and bonded, but also entangled with each other with sufficient cohesion, which can form a stable structure and a certain strength.
 
Then, the fibers on the drum are rolled,pressed and electreted to produce the final meltblown sheet in roll, or cut in different size by cutting machine.
