About:

N02200 is a solution strengthened, commercially pure forging material with good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range and excellent resistance to many corrosive agents, especially hydroxides. N02200 is modified to control carbon (0.02 maximum) so that it will not be embrittled by intergranular precipitates in many processes at temperatures from 600 ° f to 1400 ° F. Generally, the element limits of nickel200 and nickel201 are combined into a double certified chemical to obtain a single alloy N02200 with the required alloy properties.
