Trackless transfer carts (also known as battery-powered transfer vehicles) are material handling equipment designed to transport heavy objects in industrial environments without fixed tracks or rails. Unlike traditional track-mounted transfer carts, these vehicles can operate on flat roads and are more flexible in movement.
Main features of trackless transfer carts:
1. No fixed tracks are required - can operate on flat and solid ground (concrete or paved roads).
2. Steering options: automatic navigation (using laser, magnetic or inertial navigation)
3. Power: battery-powered (electric) - commonly used indoors/outdoors. DC motor provides power. It runs smoothly and can effectively protect the safety during material transportation.
4. Load capacity: suitable for heavy industrial use, with loads ranging from a few tons to more than 100 tons.
