Product Overview
Float equipment serves as essential casing equipment during primary cementing operations. It guides casing to total depth, prevents contaminated mud from entering the casing, provides landing points for casing wiper plugs, reinforces the lower end of the casing string, and ensures greater accuracy of cement slurry displacement.
Key Features
- Auto Fill Cement Float Collar permits automatic casing filling while running into the hole
- Valve remains in open position for maximum casing filling during lowering
- Especially effective for liner jobs and sensitive hole conditions
- Circulation can be established at any time during or after casing installation
- Flapper type back pressure valve activates only when drop ball is deployed
- Activated by the same ball as Differential Fill-up Equipment
- Functions as conventional floating equipment after activation
- All Auto Fill Cement Float Collars are PDC drillable
- Other sizes available upon request
