High Strength API 11B Polished Pony Oilfield Sucker Rods
Manufactured from AISI 4330 alloy steel with rod couplings, these sucker rods are essential oilfield equipment designed for reliable performance in demanding pumping operations.
Manufacturing Process
Our sucker rods undergo comprehensive manufacturing: hot rolled alloy steel bars are machine straightened and cold drawn to required sizes. Rod ends are hot forged to API specifications, then heat treated over the full length. Through normalization, tempering, or quenching processes, we achieve specified hardness and strength while eliminating residual stresses. Each rod undergoes straightness verification, alignment checks, shot-blasting for scale removal, and precision machining on CNC lathes to API dimensions.
Product Grades & Applications
- Grade C: Carbon/manganese steel for light to medium loads in non-corrosive or shallow corrosive wells
- Grade D: High-quality alloy steel with excellent strength and plasticity for deep well pumping in non-corrosive environments
- Grade K: Ni-Cr-Mo alloy steel with corrosion resistance for severely corrosive shallow, medium, and deep wells
