Inserted sucker rod pump description:
The Sucker Rod Pumping System (SRP) is considered the most popular artificial lift method worldwide. Its applications cover very low downhole pressure wells, slim holes, multiple completions, high temperature and viscous oil.
There are seven major components for downhole rod pumps: standing and traveling valves, plunger, barrel, seating assembly, pull tube or valve rod (for insert pump), and the fittings that hold the assembled pump together.
