In order to optimise the suction effect of the SMT mounter, the following measures can be taken:

Choose the right suction nozzle: According to the shape, size and surface treatment of the parts, choose the right suction nozzle. For example, for small parts, the nozzle that can generate strong vacuum force should be selected; for large or flat parts, the electrostatic nozzle should be selected.

Adjust the negative pressure source: Adjust the negative pressure source to the actual situation to generate the proper negative pressure. This ensures that the part is firmly adhered to the nozzle head and avoids damage to the part or wear on the nozzle head.

Reduce suction speed: Reducing the suction speed appropriately will increase stability and accuracy. This helps to reduce the chance of parts being dropped or damaged.

Improve placement accuracy: Improving placement accuracy ensures that parts are placed accurately on the board. This requires regular calibration of the bonder and nozzle tip to ensure they are in good working order.

Regular maintenance and nozzle replacement: Regular inspection and maintenance of the nozzle tip will ensure that it is working properly. If the nozzle tip is found to be worn or clogged, it should be replaced promptly.
