Professional 7" and 9-5/8" N80 cementing tools designed for reliable oil well drilling operations. These non-rotating casing float collars and float shoes provide dependable performance for all classes of oil and gas wells.
Product Overview
Float Collar Functionality
The float collar is installed near the bottom of the casing string where cement plugs land during primary cementing operations. It features a check valve that permits downward fluid flow while preventing upward flow through the casing. This prevents drilling mud from entering the casing during lowering, allowing casing buoyancy and reducing load on the rig mast.
Float Shoe Functionality
The float shoe maintains constant fluid height inside the casing and contains a check valve to prevent backflow. It functions similarly to the float collar while also serving as a guide shoe for the casing.
