Product Function & Design
The torque anchor is engineered to absorb reactive torque generated by friction between the rotor and stator in progressive cavity pumps, preventing tubing unscrewing during operation. Installed below or directly above the pump, this tool utilizes a mandrel with dual slips (one floating, one stationary) that cam in opposite directions to securely anchor the tubing string to the casing wall.
