215.9mm IADC637G TCI Tricone Rotary Drill Bit with 16300-21700 N.m Torque for Hard Formations
This 8 1/2" (215.9mm) IADC637G TCI tricone drill bit is engineered for high-performance drilling operations in oil & gas, mining, water well, and geological exploration applications. Available in both metal sealed and rubber sealed configurations.
- C-Center Jet: Prevents ball formation in the bit, eliminates fluid areas at the well bottom, accelerates drilling cuttings upward flow, and improves rate of penetration (ROP)
- High Saturation NBR Bearings: Reduce sealing pressure and enhance sealing reliability
- G-Gauge Protection: Enhances measuring capability and extends bit service life
- Enhanced Tooth Design: Additional row of teeth between rear taper and outflow trims borehole and protects cone
Premium tungsten carbide hardfacing on tooth surfaces enhances wear resistance for steel tooth bits. Advanced formulas and manufacturing techniques improve durability of tungsten carbide inserts.
Multiple gauge protection with gauge trimmers on the heel and gauge inserts on the cone gauge surface. Tungsten carbide inserts and hardfacing on the shirttail increase gauge holding capacity and bearing life.
High precision journal bearing with two thrust faces, ball-locked cone design. Hardfaced head bearing surface with friction-reducing alloy inlay and silver plating. Improved abrasion resistance and seizure protection, suitable for high rotary speed applications.
Advanced metal seal package includes two metal seals and two elastic energizers. Compressed energizers maintain optimal contact on sealing surfaces through elastic force. Pressure compensator system and premium grease ensure superior lubricating reliability.
