Technical Features
Available in three structural configurations: annular blowout preventer with spherical plastic core, annular blowout preventer with cone-shaped plastic core, and blowout preventer with tube-shaped plastic core. Features include reasonable structure design, easy operation, extended plastic core lifespan, wide adaptability range, and excellent performance when combined with ram blowout preventers.
Operating Principle
During well sealing operations, high-pressure oil (10.5Mpa) from control systems enters the close-cavity under the piston, promoting plastic core movement upward along the ball surface. This action causes bearing tendons to move closer together, forcing rubber components toward the wellhead center to seal drilling tools or fully seal the wellhead.
