Performance Characteristics
Features spherical plastic core design with dust-proof ring protection. Engineered for structural integrity, operational simplicity, and extended service life. Capable of sealing pipe strings from 0 to full bore diameter in various shapes and configurations.
Operating Principle
During well control operations, high-pressure hydraulic oil (10.5MPa) enters the close-cavity beneath the piston, driving the plastic core upward along the ball surface. This action compresses bearing tendons, forcing rubber elements toward the well center to seal drilling tools or completely seal the wellhead. Opening reverses this process via hydraulic pressure in the open-cavity.
