Consolidated Maxiflow Spring Loaded Safety Valve for High Temperature Steam with API 526 Standard
Consolidated 1700, 2700 and 3700 series are direct spring-loaded safety relief valves designed for overpressure protection in industrial processes. The 1700 is a conventional valve, 2700 is balanced bellows type, and 3700 is a high-capacity model. They are widely used in refineries, petrochemical plants, and power generation for steam, gas, and liquid service where reliable pop action and tight seating are critical.
- Direct spring-loaded design – fast, full-lift pop action
- Balanced bellows option (2700) – minimizes backpressure effects
- High-capacity nozzles and discs (3700)
- Adjustable blowdown ring for performance tuning
- Metal-to-metal or soft-seated options
- Open or closed bonnet configurations
- High corrosion resistance with special materials
- Orifice Sizes: D to T (API 526 standard)
- Inlet Sizes: 1" to 8"
- Outlet Sizes: 2" to 12"
- Set Pressure Range: 15 to 6000 psig (1 to 414 bar)
- Temperature Range: –423 °F to +1500 °F (–253 °C to +816 °C) depending on materials
- Body Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel
- Disc Materials: Stainless steel, Stellite hard-faced
- Leakage: API 527 tight seating
- Certification: ASME Section VIII, API 526/527
- Steam boiler drum and superheater protection
- Pressure vessel overpressure relief
- Gas and liquid hydrocarbon systems
- Refinery and petrochemical process lines
- High-temperature steam service
