The 3582i is an electro-pneumatic valve positioner designed for use with diaphragm-actuated, sliding-stem control valve assemblies. It combines a 582i electro-pneumatic converter with a 3582 pneumatic positioner to deliver accurate valve stem positioning in response to a DC current input signal.
This positioner accepts a standard 4-20 mA input and converts it into a proportional pneumatic signal that drives the actuator. The modular 582i converter can be factory-installed or added later (with proper application guidance). The unit supports field-reversible action between direct and reverse and is suitable for split-range operation.
