This mechanical sandwich splice protector type which protects the fiber splice against mechanical demage and moisture.it consist of a V shape metal support coated with a permanently elastic sealing compound on the two insides. This design gives the splice sufficient strenght and protection against pull.The product is easy to install and requires no heat shrink, curing, crimping or gluing.The installed splice protector is stored in a dedicated splice holder available for this purpose.
