CWDM is the abbreviation for coarse wavelength division multiplexer. At its most basic the CWDM is a signal combiner. It combines multiple signals on laser beams at various wavelengths for transmission along a single optical line. This wavelength division multiplexer allows lights with wavelengths from 1270nm to1610nm to travel through 18 channels spaced 20nm apart. UNIFIBER CWDM products can be used ABS box or 1U Rack packaging.
