Compared with glass ceramics, zirconia bonding is relatively simple. Because of its good strength, the choice of adhesive is very wide. There is no need for a doctor to do a surface treatment before bonding. Its active gene is combined with zirconium ions to obtain a chemical binding force. There are also a variety of color options.

Bonding Technology:

1. Etching -- is performed with phosphoric acid that will produce enamel and dentin irregularities ranging from 5-30 micrometers in depth.

2. Bonding -- a specific bonding agent is used for the operation. The bonding agent is supplied together with the composite. The bonding agent will secure a micromechanical bond to the tooth allowing good adhesion of the restoration to the tooth.

3. The composite is finally placed and light-cured.
