Equipment Introduction

     It is used for reclaiming WC cemented carbide via the zinc process. Designed as a twin-chamber horizontal vacuum furnace, the front chamber serves as the heating zone, which accommodates graphite crucibles containing the alloy and zinc. Once the zinc melts, the cemented carbide scrap is submerged for thermal modification. The rear chamber acts as the cooling chamber, housing the zinc recovery crucible. The graphite crucibles in the heating chamber and the cooling chamber are connected via a graphite conduit. Once the molten zinc in the heating chamber vaporizes, it is transported through the graphite conduit to the cooling chamber where it condenses, thereby achieving the recovery and recycling of zinc.

   The furnace is capable of operating under both vacuum and partial-pressure atmospheres. It adopts a control method that combines semi-automatic and manual operations, balancing integrated control with operational flexibility. The entire system features a modular design, making it easy to upgrade and maintain.

1.Heating and Insulation System

The insulation box consists of multiple layers of  felt, and its structure should minimize heat loss caused by gas convection during pressurized gas operation; it features a long service life.

2.Vacuum System

The vacuum system runs via an automated program, features a negative pressure self-test function, and possesses interlocking and safe operation functions to ensure operational reliability.

3.Atmosphere Control System

All air pipes are neatly arranged with standard modular integrated design, delivering both aesthetic appearance and convenient maintenance.

4.Safety System

In response to emergencies such as over-temperature, over-pressure, water outage, power failure, and gas outage, the equipment will activate corresponding safety devices to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and products.
