AUTOFOR non-woven wheels are specifically designed for cutting chrome steel, chrome plated bars, and automotive steel without burning or producing unpleasant odors.
Autofor categorizes metal hardness into four groups with corresponding wheel hardness levels:
- HRC <30
- HRC 30-50
- HRC 50-60
- HRC >60
Cutting wheel hardness levels: PB > MB > LB > KB
- HRC40-50 (non-heat treated steel): Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, S-C Series Tool Steel, SK Series, SS Series Mild Steel
- HRC50-60 (heat treated alloy tool steel): SKS, SKT, SK3, SUP, S45C, SCM415, SNCM439
- HRC58-64 (hard heat treated steel): Special Alloy Steel, SKD, SKH, SKS3, SCM415, SACM, SNCM439
- HRC40-63 (cast iron FC and forged cast iron): Cotton Series
- Exceptional strength and high safety standards
