Description:
KSD9700 serial thermal protectors with metal casing are composed of the thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable.
Work Principle:
KSD9700 type bimetal thermal protector is using the double metal piece as e temperature sensing element. When the electrics work normally, the double piece is at the free status, the contact is at close/break off position. When the temperature rises to the action temperature, the double metal piece acts fast by the inside force caused by heating, open/close the contact, cut off/get through the power, the temperature protection function is raised. When the temperature lows to the reset temperature, the contact closes/breaks off automatically and recovery to normal work status.
