1. Description:
Silica fabric is a flexible fabric developed to replace the asbestos fabric in welding and stress relief applications where protection from heat or molten metal is required.
• 650gsm is used where special protection is required
When fire and light combustion are required, avoid welding sparks.
• 1250gsm is used where more durability is required burn violently or relieve pressure.
• These products can also be used as ropes, sleeves, braids tape, and cutting tape.

Silica fabric has many uses, from welding to metal cutting applications. Another use of these fabrics is to make removable insulating blankets.
