1. Description:
Fiberglass fabric is an ideal fabric that can be used in harsh temperature applications throughout the industrial insulation market. They are easy to manufacture and remain flexible after high-temperature exposure and provide excellent molten metal splash protection. Silicone-coated fiberglass fabrics have many applications, from welding to metal cutting applications.
Silicone Coating on FIberglass can be done in two ways:
Knife Coating: Used For liquid silicone generally for lower coating weight where the Silicone encapsulates the fiberglass fabric giving more softer fabric of lower thickness. [About 40-180g Silicone for each side]
Calendaring: Dry Silicone is laminated onto fiberglass fabric giving high coating weight pick-up and a fabric that is stronger and thicker up to 5 mm thickness [About 500-1500g Silicone for each side]

4. Silicone Coating Cloth Features
- Glass fiber fabric has flame retardant properties that other fabrics do not have. The real fiberglass cloth will not be deformed or scorched after being fired, because the inner skeleton of the cloth is fiberglass.
- The fabric is natural minerals, does not provide a breeding environment for bacteria, bacteria cannot multiply, and the fabric will not become moldy.
- The glass fiber sunscreen fabric has good heat insulation performance that other fabrics do not have, which greatly reduces the utilization rate of the room air conditioner, thereby saving energy.
