- Test layout on ground surface before applying adhesive
- Group tiles by color number and pattern direction for consistent appearance
Installation Process
- Use wet or dry pasting methods as appropriate
- Apply cement mortar in manageable sections (not exceeding 45 minutes)
- Maintain 2-5mm spacing between tiles and 3-5mm at wall junctions
- Angle tiles at 15 degrees when placing, then push horizontally to eliminate air bubbles
- Tap with hammer handle to ensure proper adhesion and level with wooden hammer
Post-Installation Care
- Check for air pockets 12 hours after installation
- Clean surface promptly within 1 hour of installation
- Avoid heavy equipment and waxing for first 48 hours
- Wait 24 hours before walking on newly installed tiles
