Application Background

The frequent occurrence of haze in recent years has brought potential hidden dangers to the safe and stable operation of the power grid. When the haze weather occurs, the insulation conductivity of the air decreases, and the insulation level of the grid insulators also decreases. In order to be able to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the changes in the performance of the insulators of the grid when haze weather occurs, it provides quantitative data support for the safe and reliable operation of the grid and the review of insulator-related performance.

Product Principle

The fog water conductivity test device is a product based on the upper and lower computer system. As for the lower computer, the fog water conductivity test device is based on a 32-bit embedded microcontroller STM32F103RC, which integrates a conductivity meter module, a flow meter module, a suction module, a power module, a temperature and humidity measurement module, a touch screen module and a GPRS module. The GPRS module of the lower computer relies on the RestFul mode in the TCP transparent transmission protocol to upload data to OneNet and display it on the application interface.

• The device is packaged in a metal box as a whole, and has good thermal conductivity and good EMI shielding function.
• 800 * 400 color LCD liquid crystal touch screen, graphic display, intuitive interface, the structure of the touch screen and the horizontal side at an angle of 60 degrees, easy for field personnel to observe and operate.
• The data upload supports GPRS mode, U disk reading and writing, which can realize the storage and export of system historical data.
• Based on the network application of China Mobile's Internet of Things platform, OneNet, it supports the real-time monitoring of the operating status of the system on the mobile phone and PC side.
• Support email early warning notification. When the device triggers the setting threshold, it will send an email alert to the operation and maintenance personnel.
• High-speed sampling frequency, advanced digital signal processing technology, strong anti-interference performance, and extremely high accuracy of measurement results.

For Quito tower design center, most of the engineers are local staffs. The Design is based on ASTM protocols meantime with GB material standard, which will reduce the weight, and avoid the replacement on the profiles to save the working time.
