1. Bearings with general assembly
Universal matched bearings are specially processed. When the bearings are installed close to each other, any combination can achieve the established internal clearance or preloading, as well as the average load distribution, without using gaskets or similar devices.
Matched bearings are used when the load carrying capacity of a single bearing is insufficient (using channeling configuration) or when combined loads or axial loads acting in two directions (using back-to-back or face-to-face configuration).
2. Basic design of bearings (not for general assembly) for single bearing configuration
The basic design of single row angular contact ball bearings is mainly used in each position with only one bearing configuration. Its width and prominence are ordinary tolerances. Therefore, it is not suitable to install two single row angular contact ball bearings close to each other.
