The tubing hanger is an important component of wellhead tubing head / tubing spool, it is used in the completion of oil and gas production wells. It is set in the tree or the wellhead and suspends the production tubing. Sometimes the tubing hanger provides porting to allow the communication of hydraulic , electric and other downhole functions and chemical injection.

Tubing hanger has various structures including taper type and straight seat type. It can be either of metal-to-metal seal or non-metal seal. The product has back pressure valve thread and locating mechanism. It is designed with various cable penetrating channels including pipeline channel for downhole safety valve control, chemical injection channel and capillary channel. The upper and lower threads can be API tubing threads, FOX, TM or VAM threads.
