Wellhead Valves API 6A H2 Adjustable Manual Flanged Choke Valve
The Choke Valve is an important wellhead equipment installed in Wellhead Christmas Tree and Choke Manifold and applied for well control operations to reduce the pressure of a fluid from high pressure in the closed wellbore to atmospheric pressure. The H2 type adjustable choke valve may be adjusted (opened or closed) to closely control the pressure drop.
Adjustable Choke Valves are constructed to resist wear while high-velocity, solids-laden fluids are flowing by the restricting or sealing elements and conformed with API 6A standard. There are various types choke valve to meet different requriements. The swivel one-way Choke valve is divided into hand-operated Choke valve and liquid-operated Choke valve. The two kinds of adjustable choke, needle type and the sleeve type could apply to wellheads& X-mas tree and choke manifold. And there are fixed Choke valve and swivel Choke valve. The swivel Choke valve is divided into pin type, plunger type and pore plate type.
