PS Series Disc Brake System for Oil Well Drilling Rig Workover Rig
PS series disc brake system is mainly used for drilling rigs, workover rigs and well hoister. The disc brake system consists of three parts: brake actuation mechanism, hydraulic station and operation panel. These three parts are connected through hydraulic pipes. The hydraulic station supply hydraulic power for the system; the control panel controls the hydraulic power, it is made up of service brake assembly, parking brake assembly, emergency brake assembly and all kinds of pressure indicators; the actuation mechanism is a braking actuation unit which consists of braking caliper, caliper frame and friction disc. The braking caliper has two parts, one is normal open service calipers, the other is normal closed calipers. Its main function is to brake the drum so that the speed to raise or lower the drilling tools can be adjusted.
