Polished rod bop is a kind of sucker rod bop, which is pressure control equipment in oilfield operation, and the BOP is used to seal the sucker-rod pump polish rod to prevent oil and gas Leakage and conformed with API 16A. When installed on the top tubing or x-mas tree, the Sucker Rod BOPs are to give positive protection against blow outs, when operating with sucker rods / polished rods in workover operations, by providing positive seal around the sucker rod/polish rod.Also, BOP shall be dressed with 3/4” rams & all other rams sizes shall be supplied as accessories.
