Ball Valve Assembly For Downhole Tester Valve / Circulating Valve
The Ball Valve Assembly is the important part of DST tools, the ball valve section is used in OMNI Circulating Valve, RD Safety Circulating Valve, Select Tester Valve, and LPR-N Valve, Mechanical Tester Valve.
Ball Valve Section in OMNI Circulating Valve / BOP Safety Circulating Valve
The ball valve section is comprised of the spring fingers, the upper seat holder, the lower seat holders, the operating pins, the ball valve assemblies ,lower adapter, etc. The ball valve will be closed before opening the circulating port, so it makes sure that the circulating medium is separated from the formation fluid in circulation.
Ball Valve Section in Select Tester Valve
The ball valve section contains the ball valve and the mechanism that rotates the ball when the tool is activated; the ball is rotated to the open position allowing the reservoir to flow into the testing string.
Ball Valve Section in RD Safety Circulating valve
The Ball Valve Assembly is the safety part of RD safety circulating valve. The safety section consists of a ball valve, operating pins, and collet fingers. As the power mandrel moves down, the operating arms close the ball valve. The collet fingers expand, allowing the power mandrel to continue traveling down to open the circulating ports when remove the ball valve assembly, the RD Safety circulating valve is RD circulating valve.
