Product Description
ESD protective work surface mats, sometimes referred to as Anti-Static mats, aid in preventing ESD sensitive items (ESDS) and assemblies from being damaged by electrostatic discharge. They are particularly integral where hand assembly occurs. ESD matting normally has a dissipative top surface, and a conductive inner or bottom surface depending on whether they are 2-layer or 3-layer mats. Worksurfaces are required to be < 1.0 x 109 ohms resistance to ground, per ANSI/ESD S20.20, Table
