A Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating machine is a specialized industrial apparatus used to apply thin, durable coatings onto various substrates through a vacuum-based process. The primary objective is to enhance surface properties such as hardness, wear resistance, corrosion protection, and aesthetic appeal. The operational principle involves vaporizing a solid material, typically a metal or ceramic, within a vacuum chamber. The process begins by placing the substrate inside the chamber, which is then evacuated to a high vacuum to eliminate contaminants. Common PVD techniques include sputtering and evaporation.
