DuPont SFP-2860 Ultrafiltration Membrane 8 Inch PVDF 51 m²
The DuPont SFP-2860 is a high-performance PVDF hollow fiber ultrafiltration (UF) membrane designed for demanding water treatment applications. With a 50kDa molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) and 0.03 μm pore size, it effectively removes suspended solids, bacteria (>99.9%), and viruses (LRV≥4), making it ideal for municipal wastewater reuse, RO pretreatment, and industrial process water.

- High Filtration Efficiency - 0.01-0.1 µm pore size for removal of turbidity, pathogens, and macromolecules
- Low Fouling & High Flux - Hydrophilic PES material resists organic fouling, ensuring stable long-term performance
- Chemical Resistance - Tolerates pH 1-13 (cleaning) and chlorine exposure
- Compact & Modular Design - 8-inch standard housing for easy integration into existing UF/RO systems
- Sustainable Operation - Low transmembrane pressure (TMP) reduces energy costs
- Pretreatment for RO/NF systems (seawater desalination, boiler feed water)
- Drinking water purification (removal of bacteria, viruses, and turbidity)
- Wastewater reuse (municipal/industrial wastewater tertiary treatment)
- Food & Beverage processing (clarification, sterile filtration)

Proper start-up of a UF system is essential for preparing the membranes for operational service and preventing membrane damage. Adhering to the correct start-up sequence ensures that operating parameters conform to design specifications, enabling attainment of system water quality and productivity targets.
Before commencing system start-up procedures, complete membrane pretreatment, installation of membrane modules, instrument calibration, and other system checks. Refer to the product technical manual for detailed instructions.
NOTICE: NSF/ANSI 61 certified drinking water modules require specific conditioning procedures before generating potable water. Please refer to the flushing section of the product technical manual for detailed procedures. Drinking water modules may be subject to additional regulatory constraints in certain countries.
