Operational Guidelines

Proper startup is critical to prevent membrane damage and maintain system parameters within design specifications. Before operation:

  • Complete membrane preconditioning and module installation per technical manual
  • Calibrate all instrumentation and perform system checks
  • Flush the UF system thoroughly to eliminate shipping solution
  • Purge residual air from the system
  • Start manually at 60% of design capacity

Note: NSF/ANSI 61 certified modules require specific conditioning procedures for potable water production. Check local regulations before use.
