Product Description

T- Turbocharger / T- TCR12 Turbine Housing For Marine Propulsion And Gensets Engines

T- / T- TCR series turbocharger features:

T- TCR12 Turbine housing of Turbocharger Casing is one part of T- / T- TCR series turbocharger. T- / T- TCR series turbochargers were created to address the very special challenges faced by Heavy Fuel Oil, Marine Diesel Oil, biofuel and gas engines. Products are available for the entire engine power range, from 350 kW to 7MW per turbocharger. T- / T- TCR turbochargers are IMO Tier III compliant, and represent a robust, versatile modular platform– suitable for a wide variety of high-, medium- and low-speed engine applications.

  • Increase of the compressor pressure ratio
  • High efficiency
  • Low noise emissions
  • Simple installation to the engine
  • Easy maintenance
  • Long service life
  • wide application: Marine propulsion, excavators, locomotives, power generation, off-road vehicles, machanical drive, mining, marine gensets.

Brief introduction of turbocharger casing and turbine housing:

The turbocharger casings includes turbine part, bearing part and compressor part, so the turbine housing, bearing casing and compressor housings cover and protect all the important parts safely in the turbocharger to ensure a premium perforce of the engine.

A turbine housing (casing) includes a central aperture for containing a turbine blade assembly and directing exhaust gases past the turbine blades in a turbocharger. The turbocharger consists of a single stage impulse turbine connected to a centrifugal impeller via a shaft. The turbine is driven by the engine exhaust gas, which enters via the gas inlet casing. The gas expands through a nozzle ring where the pressure energy of the gas is converted to kinetic energy. This high velocity gas is directed onto the turbine blades where it drives the turbine wheel, and thus the compressor at high speeds (10 -15000 rpm). The exhaust gas then passes through the outlet casing to the exhaust uptakes.
