T- TCA55 Marine Turbocharger features:

T-TCA55 marine turbocharger belongs to T- /T- TCA series exhaust gas turbochargers, which were regarded as the upgraded technology of the previous successful T-NA series of turbochargers. The T-TCA series turbocharger is not only clearly increased in efficiency, but aslo substantially improved in reliability and service life. The T-TCA Series are developed for constant-pressure turbocharging, with which, the engine exhaust gases flow into a common exhaust ifold, accumulate there and flow with minor pressure fluctuations to the exhaust turbine.

The T-TCA series are designed as axial turbine and can be used in a very wide perforce range for the charging of  two-stroke and four-stroke diesel and gas powered engines. Engine outputs are from 2,000 kW to 30,000kW per turbocharger and with easy-to-service or maintenance.

Brief introduction of Marine turbocharger:

The marine turbocharger, also known as exhaust gas turbocharger, is the main equipment in the diesel engine boosting system. It consists of a single-stage exhaust gas turbine and a centrifugal compressor. They are mounted on the same shaft to form the moving part of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger - the rotor. The function of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger is to use the diesel exhaust energy to drive the turbine to drive the compressor on the coaxial to increase the air pressure into the cylinder, so that the diesel engine power is greatly improved. The exhaust turbocharger approximately doubles the power of the diesel engine, but its weight is only increased 10%.
