T- TCR18 Cast Iron Turbocharger Bearing Casing For HFO Engine
T- TCR18 Turbocharger Bearing Housing For HFO, Marine Diesel Oil, Biofuel And Gas Engines
T- TCR turbochargers features:
T- TCR18 turbocharger bearing housing (also called bearing casing or bearing pedestal) is one part of T- TCR Series exhaust gas turbocharger and which were created to address the very special challenges faced by Heavy Fuel Oil, Marine Diesel Oil, biofuel and gas engines. Products are available for the entire engine power range, from 350 kW to 7MW per turbocharger. / TCR turbochargers are IMO Tier III compliant, and represent a robust, versatile modular platform– suitable for a wide variety of high-, medium- and low-speed engine applications.
- Engine outputs from 350 kW to 7M;
- Radial flow design;
- Increased efficiency due to improved compressor wheel and turbine design;
- Constant and pulse pressure turbocharging;
- Low moment of inertia for best dynamic behavior;
- New compressor wheel fixation for easy servicing;
- Un-cooled casings;
- Pipe-less design with integrated oil inlet and oil drain;
- No sealing air required;

The description of T- TCR18 turbocharger bearing housing:
The turbocharger casing includes turbine part, bearing part and compressor part, so the turbine housing, bearing casing and compressor housings cover and protect all the important parts safely in the turbocharger to ensure a premium perforce of the engine.
The turbine casing, bearing casing and compressor housing are made by cast iron. Some casings are water cooled which complicates the casting. Water cooled casings are necessary for turbochargers with ball and roller bearings with their own integral LO supply (to keep the LO cool). Modern turbochargers with externally lubricated journal bearings have uncooled casings. This leads to greater overall efficiency as less heat energy is rejected to cooling water and is available for the exhaust gas boiler.
