Zinc stearate is mainly used as a lubricant and demulsifying agent for styrene resin, phenolic resin, an amine resin. At the same time, it also has the function of vulcanizing active agents and softeners in rubber. Zinc stearate was used as a reference compound to study the infrared spectra of zinc oxide (ZnO) catalyst substrates for the analysis of gas adsorption on the ZnO surface of colloidal stearate sealant.
